How long is the battery life? How long do TouchPoints take to charge?

The battery life for TouchPoints is 3 - 4  hours depending on the settings used. They take 2-3 hours to charge fully.

What's the difference between TouchPoints™ original and basic?

Both TouchPoints™ original and basic use BLAST technology to alter the body's stress response.

TouchPoints™ original is highly customizable with six pre-settings and the ability to customize and save your own settings as well. It is controlled by an app which you need to download on a smart device.

TouchPoints™ basic is a more simple version, which is operated manually without the need for an app. It comes with three speed settings and a longer battery life than TouchPoints™ original.

    How long is the battery life?

    For TouchPoints™ original, the battery life is around 2 hours if used continuously and if used sporadically, the battery will last 1-2 days.

    The battery life for TouchPoints™ basic is approximately 7-8 hours.

    It takes 2-3 hours for batteries to recharge. Batteries are made of rechargeable lithium, and the average battery life is 2-3 years.


    Are TouchPoints™ waterproof?

    TouchPoints™ original are not waterproof. While they will withstand minor contact with water (ex. perspiration), they should not be otherwise exposed.

    TouchPoints™ basic are water-resistant.

    Are TouchPoints™ FDA Or government approved?

    TouchPoints™ are a general wellness device and do not require FDA approval as they are a 100% non-invasive lifestyle device.

    How do TouchPoints™ help reduce my stress?

    TouchPoints™ were designed to interfere with the body's stress response by keeping it from entering the flight, fight, or freeze mode.

    Many of our users report they experience less pain, are more calm, are able to sleep better, and have improved performance. TouchPoints™ can be used for a short duration to spot treat stress, or they may be left on for longer periods of time to prevent it as well as 15 minutes in the morning and night to help improve sleep.

    How do I use TouchPoints Basic?

    What is the TouchPoint Challenge?

    The TouchPoint Challenge stimulates a stressful event so you can quickly feel the stress reduction.

    Here’s how you can take the challenge:

    1. Think of an event that was particularly stressful for you. On a scale of 1-10, rate the stress level of that event.

    2. While thinking about the event, notice your body sensations. Where in your body do you feel the stress (i.e. upset stomach, chest tightness)? On a scale of 1-10, rate the intensity of the body sensation.

    3. Turn your TouchPoints on.We suggest using the blue setting.

    4. Continue to focus on the stressful event while your TouchPoints are on.

    5. After 30 seconds, turn the TouchPoints off and rate the stress of the event again using a 1-10 scale and rate the intensity of the body sensations using a 1-10 scale.

    If you did not feel a significant reduction, turn the TouchPoints again and repeat the challenge until the stress level has been lowered.

    Congratulations, you have just completed the TouchPoint challenge!

    Why do you have to wear two TouchPoints?

    What if TouchPoints™ don't work on me?

    There are no known conditions that would render TouchPoints™ ineffective. TouchPoints™ should work on everyone because of how the brain integrates sensory input.

    If it feels like your TouchPoints™ aren’t producing calm it could be because they are on too slow of a speed setting for a particular person or the overlap period may be too long. Try a faster setting with no overlap if this is a possibility.

    If someone is panicking or thinking about an extremely stressful event, it may take longer than 30 seconds for the individual to feel the difference. In this case, leave your TouchPoints™ on and then reassess every minute. In a few minutes, there should be a noticeable difference.

    If an individual has a severe medical or mental health condition or is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, this may interfere with the results. If an individual has a dissociative disorder, autism, or agenesis of the corpus callosum, he or she may not be able to notice the positive changes even if they are occurring.

    How Can I Test whether My TouchPoints™ Are Working?

    The TouchPoints™ Challenge is built into the setup of every new TouchPoints™ original kit.

    After your phone initially pairs with TouchPoints™, the app will prompt you to follow the steps below. Anyone with TouchPoints™ basic can follow along and do the TouchPoints™ challenge without the app!

    1. Think about an upsetting life event that is about a 6 or 7 on a scale of 0 to 10 where 0 is zero feeling or stress about an event and 10 is the most upset you can imagine.
    2. Then see if you can feel a body sensation when you think about the upsetting situation and rate how intense that sensation is on a scale of 0 to 10 where 0 is no sensation and 10 is the most intense sensation you can imagine.
    3. Notice or write down the numbers you associate with the upsetting life event.
    4. Use the app to turn on your TouchPoints™ original on the preset “Reduce Stress Now” setting and keep thinking about the upsetting life event. Or, use the medium speed setting on TouchPoints™ basic.
    5. Wait about 30 seconds and then rate how your body sensation changed and how upsetting the situation now feels on the same 0 to 10 scale.
    6. If it’s gone, congratulations! If it’s lower, but not gone, keep thinking about the situation until it feels like it’s not upsetting.
    7. Then turn your TouchPoints™ off and see how upset you can become about the life situation.
    Our research shows that in less than 1 minute, at least 60% of the upset resolves and it does not return when the original situation was rated with an intensity of 7 or less. If the intensity is 8 or higher, it may take longer for TouchPoints™ to produce calm, so be patient and allow them to work.

    How Do I Wear TouchPoints™?

    Place one TouchPoint™ on each side of your body and secure them via clips, watch bands, or by holding them.

    For TouchPoints™ to work, one must be on the right side of the body and one must be on the left. TouchPoints™ do not need to be touching the skin. After the TouchPoints™ are in place, turn on the app and follow the instructions.

    TouchPoints™ can be used for a short duration to spot treat stress, or they may be left on for longer periods of time to prevent it.

    How do I register my TouchPoints on the app?

    1. Download the TouchPoints app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store by searching for “TouchPoint Solution".

    2. Create an account within the app or log in if you already have an existing account.

    3. Navigate to the menu (on the top right corner of the app). Go to Settings then Product Registration. 

    4. Choose the date you purchased your TouchPoints (feel free to reference your order confirmation email).

    5. Enter the serial numbers of the back of each of your devices, separated by a comma, and select the TouchPoints Model that you own.

    6. Your devices are now registered!

    What is the TouchPoints app/How can I download the app?

    The TouchPoint App is easy to find and simple to install.

    What are the minimum Android specs needed to use TouchPoints™ original?

    In order to use the TouchPoints™ app correctly, you need to have operating system "Kit Kat 4.4" or newer as well as Bluetooth 4.0.

    What are the minimum Apple specs needed to use TouchPoints™ original?

    In order to use the TouchPoints™ app correctly, you need to have at least iOS Version 11.0 or newer as well as Bluetooth 4.0.

    What is TouchPoints Original?

    TouchPoints Original was an app-controlled model of TouchPoints that we sold in 2017 and 2018. We are no longer selling this model.

    What's your return policy?

    Our products are all backed by a 30-day trial period.

    You'll have 30 days to try out your TouchPoints™ and see how they work for you. If for any reason you don't love them, let us know and we'll give you a refund*.

    In the event of the devices becoming faulty this is covered by the accompanying 2 Year Manufacturer Warranty and a replacement will be offered upon the devices being verified as faulty.

    Good customer service is very important to Touchpoint Europe and we will endeavour to make your experience with us as stress free as possible.

    *In the unlikely event that you wish to return the goods the Touchpoints must be returned in re-sellable condition.  Please note a Flat Rate Postage Fee of £15.00 will be deducted from your refund as will wristband value of £10.00  due to hygiene reasons.

    Can I purchase TouchPoints with my insurance?

    TouchPoints can be purchased using your Health Savings Account (HSA) account if you have one. Simply use your HSA credit card at checkout. Please note that in the event of an audit you may be asked for a referral document from your doctor authorizing the purchase of the TouchPoints devices.

    What is covered by the 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty?

    The 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty covers any manufacturer's defects for one year from purchase.

    TouchPoints Insurance can be purchased separately to cover damages outside the manufacturer's warranty for one year.

    Do you ship internationally?

    We currently ship to all European Countries either from our UK distribution centre or via local distributors and we aim deliver all international orders (via Royal Mail Tracked and Signed For) within 3 - 5 working days.  This is at a flat rate and ensure the security of your purchase.
